DIY Vegan Chocolate Bark – the perfect festive gift!
Ok Ok… this isn’t technically a “recipe”. But I had to include some chocolate bark in this year’s Vegan Advent Calendar. Bark is SO much fun to make, it’s quick, easy and super fun to make with kids. It also makes a great stocking filler for a friend or loved one, and let’s face it… who doesn’t love chocolate?
There are tons of vegan chocolates available these days, my favourites so far are Ombar and Rawr Chocolate! Simply melt your favourites, create some swirls, add some fun, colourful toppings and hey presto, you’ve got yourself a great snack or gift!
Dairy-Free Chocolate Bark
Ingredients
- 200 g Dark Chocolate
- 100 g Vegan White Chocolate
Suggested Toppings
- Freezedried Berries
- Crushed Nuts
- Dried Fruit
- Puffed Quinoa
- Cacao Nibs
- Coconut
Instructions
- Melt the dark chocolate over a double boiler, then spread it into a 10 inch by 6 inch rectangle on a flat baking tray lined with greaseproof paper.
- Melt the white chocolate and add blobs randomly on top the dark chocolate rectangle. Use a knife to create random swirls.
- Sprinkle on top whatever toppings you would like, then pop it in the fridge for an hour to set. Break it up into random sized pieces and put into little gift bags to share with your friends!
This bark looks incredibly amazing! Love both the white and dark chocolate for the best of both worlds :)
I agree! If you can’t pick, have both!
This chocolate bark looks incredible! All of the toppings kind of makes it look like a galaxy ;)
Thanks Sarah!
